A heritage NZ garlic from Henry Harrington’s collection, who was one of New Zealand’s foremost seed savers. His ancestors were some of the early French settlers of the Akaroa Peninsular, and this is their garlic.
Large pungent bulbs of 6 to 8 outer cloves, with a purple blush to the inner paper.
Our most dependable and easy to grow garlic, and our earliest producing. In the last two seasons with the increase of Allium rust, this variety has proven to be our most productive, finishing early so avoiding the worst of the rust
