UNAVAILABLE FOR 2019 SEASON
A New Zealand heritage garlic found growing wild in the sand dunes of the far north. So it is well suited to the warmer parts of the country where garlic can be more difficult to grow well, as well as proving to be excellant in the cold of the south.
White skinned softneck garlic with pink blushed cloves, producing medium sized bulbs with a medium rich but creamy garlic flavour.
It came to New Zealand with the early Dalmatian settlers in Northland, and was kept alive by the good folks at Koanga Institute.
